SEO/SEM Specialist

This person will generate targeted traffic from the ethical search engine optimization of Icronex websites for all potential search engines and directories.

Responsibilities

Analyze website architecture, link structure, content, and document optimization recommendations.
Develop improvements to new and existing sites that result in top page natural search listings. Troubleshoot and report recommendations on sites with ranking problems.
Optimize various website components including copy, meta tags, page title/descriptions, internal linking, sitemap, etc.
Follow proper and ethical SEO guidelines with respect to coding and adherence to established copy/keyword standards.
Research targeted keywords and match up to relevant content pages.
Monitor and report overall SEO program success regarding keyword ranking, indexed pages, backlinks, etc.
Perform competitive analysis to help improve future SEO results.

Domain Expertise

Ability to explain how search engines process content.
Ability to explain what robots.txt & .htaccess files are and how they are used.
SEO Friendly Redirects & Mod-Rewrites.
Keyword Research.
Site Structure & Internal Link Structures.
Assess Sites Spider Friendliness & Make Recommendations Based on Research.
Link Popularity.
Familiarity with off-line casinos or lotteries, video games, online gaming and other online entertainment websites highly desirable.

Experience

Proven track record of working in an internet environment with ecommerce experience.
Results driven ability to excel in a fast paced and fun environment.
Creative with good attention to detail.
Good writing skills, grammar, punctuation and spelling in the American Vernacular.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
