Senior Web Designer
The Designer will produce outstanding Web 1.0 and 2.0 visual solutions to
meet the objectives of the Marketing group using a mix of creative skills,
knowledge of existing competition and user awareness. He/she will be responsible
for providing the visual standards upon which all domains, social network
properties, new product offerings and prototypes are designed. His/her designs
should complement the scope and context of each project, should be visually
appealing, fit within accepted international web practices and guidelines, and
also within established brand standards when applicable. He/she will implement
project development standards that meet or exceed common thresholds and balance
the needs of user experience, SEO, QA, and content with the visual experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all design-related projects within the Marketing Group.
- Develop a design vocabulary for use by the entire design group for all new
product prototypes, social network frameworks, web site redesigns, new
domains, etc.
- Design new concepts and layouts for web sites that beat the ranks of
existing Icronex sponsored sites on search engines and deliver requisite user
registration growth.
- Work with writers and marketing professionals to regularly upgrade sites
by updating content and graphics in order to improve the overall user
experience.
- Keep himself/herself abreast of the latest World Wide Web standards and
technologies pertaining to website design.
Domain Expertise
- Demonstrated expertise developing all types of Web 1.0 assets
- Familiarity with Web 2.0 design technologies, with an intent to implement
as needed
- Familiarity with off-line casinos or lotteries, video games, online gaming
and other online entertainment websites highly desirable.
Experience
- Proven track record of working in an internet environment with ecommerce
experience.
- Results driven ability to excel in a fast paced and fun environment.
- Creative with good attention to detail.
- Good writing skills, grammar, punctuation and spelling in the American
Vernacular.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
