Head-IT & Infrastructure Management (Costa Rica)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Corporate Servers group, Windows group and the LAN/WAN group at in-house data center.
• Maintaining a backup policy, VPN connectivity, port forwarding and NAT.
• Responsible for configuration and maintenance of leased lines and IPLC circuits on Cisco routers and IGX. Management and configuration of VLANS, up gradation of Cisco IOS, implementation of access lists on Cisco 3800, 3600, 2600 series routers.
• Configuration management on Cisco 6000, 2900, 3500 series layer 2 and layer 3 switches.
• Network Management and monitoring using Cisco Works, What's up Gold, MRTG etc.
• Implementation of security policies on Cisco PIX, Checkpoint & Linux Firewalls.
• Management of all hosting scattered over various data centers (Windows as well as Linux) across the world and high volume email systems. Management of DNS, Qmail and load balancing for the web hosting servers.
• Administration knowledge of MS-SQL databases will be preferred.
• Installation and Management of EPABX and VoIP using Cisco IP Telephony platform.
• 10+ years hands on experience in a Data Center environment, with good academic background, preferably from a premier institute.

The position is based out of Costa Rica in Central America.
